OLOL · ALL STAFF & CENTRAL TEAMS

Your wellbeing matters

Support is for everyone working in our Trust. You do not need to wait until things feel unmanageable before speaking to someone.

Check in · connect · agree support

01

Check in with yourself

What has changed? Consider energy, sleep, concentration and how work feels. Note the pressures you want help with.

02

Choose a conversation

Speak with your line manager or another appropriate leader. If you prefer independent support, explore Education Support’s service.

03

Agree practical action

Discuss priorities, workload, adjustments or other available support. Agree who will do what and when you will check in again.

Small actions, shared responsibility

Personal wellbeing habits can help, but they do not replace action on workload, working conditions or relationships. Talk about the source of pressure as well as what might help you recover.

RESEARCH · EDUCATION SUPPORT · 2025

Teacher Wellbeing Index 2025

The latest edition currently listed by Education Support explores the wellbeing of teachers and education staff across the UK. These are national survey findings, not OLOL results.

What staff reported

01

76%

of education staff reported feeling stressed.

02

86%

of senior leaders reported feeling stressed.

03

49%

of education staff said organisational culture negatively affected their mental health.

A question for our teams: what can we change about workload, support and everyday working culture? Use local staff voice to identify priorities; national figures do not describe every school.
